Starting you on the road to feeling better quicker!
We are a State of Virginia certified “Direct Access” practice. This allows you to be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist without a referral from a physician or other health care provider.
What Direct Access means:
- You can receive physical therapy services without obtaining a referral or prescription from a physician or other healthcare provider for up to 30 consecutive days.
- If more treatment is needed beyond the initial 30 day period, we will communicate with your physician to obtain authorization for continued treatment.
If it is determined that your condition is outside of the scope of physical therapy, you will be referred back to your primary care physician or another specialist for further assessment and medical care.
